2-column, linear-guided, double-mitre, automatic metal band saw with patented mitre system (ERP No. 0491120). Particularly suitable for universal use with different cross-sections, materials and frequently changing mitre cuts.

Standard Equipment

• Access security in accordance with CE standards via a light barrier.
• Automatic band saw in a proven two-column linear design with an integrated clamp insertion system, featuring a stroke length from 5 to 2300 mm, extendable in increments of 1000 mm.
• Visualized program input with CNC control enables fully automatic operation with freely selectable angles from 30° to 135°, as well as input of cutting length and number of pieces. Simple program creation and management of up to 255 programs are supported. Operators enter the sawing task using a graphical display mask with a sectional view, minimizing input errors and ensuring secure and reliable creation of production orders by different operators.
• High-performance package with saw feed via servo-controlled ball screw drive, including automatic cutting pressure and feed monitoring. This ensures optimal sawing conditions for every application, providing constant pressure for solid materials and constant feed for thin-walled profiles.
• Fast and precise material length feeding via rack-and-pinion system and AC drive, with a maximum stroke length of 2300 mm and an integrated roller conveyor supporting material lengths of up to 3000 mm.
• Double-sided opening clamping jaws in the clamp insertion system, equipped with ribbed strips for reliable transport of heavy materials.
• Saw frame constructed from solid, low-vibration welded steel. The saw blade is inclined at a 3° angle to the material support surface, ensuring maximum cutting performance and extended service life when sawing steel construction profiles. Disc bearing design is included.
• Combined saw blade guidance system with precision bearings for gentle blade deflection and chamfered carbide slide guides for accurate and durable blade guidance.
• The miter pivot point (zero point) is located at the intersection of the saw blade and the fixed clamping jaw, ensuring that the length measurement remains unchanged when the angle position is altered. Automatic calculation of the cutting channel width is performed for each angle position.
• NC-controlled angle programming directly at the control panel, which is generally freestanding on these systems.
• Patented double miter clamping system with automatic operation. The material clamp automatically moves in the direction of material flow according to the selected miter angle, ensuring that the material is always clamped at a right angle and close to the saw blade. Material clamping is achieved using full-stroke hydraulic cylinders.
• Rapid lowering of the saw frame via an automatic height switch bar to just before the material. During serial cutting, the saw frame moves only briefly above the material, allowing a new section to be positioned quickly and ensuring optimal cycle times for both single and serial cutting operations.
• AC frequency-controlled band saw drive with infinitely variable cutting speed from 15 to 150 m/min.
• Low-maintenance, zero-backlash ball-bearing linear guides on both the material feed and saw frame feed ensure smooth, jerk-free, and vibration-damped operation. A separate control panel is provided.
• Movable belt guide arm with adjustment to material width.
• Rotating chip cleaning brush for effective chip removal.
• Hydraulic saw blade tensioning system with automatic pressure relief when the machine is at a standstill.
• Operating instructions and spare parts list supplied in digital format.
• One bimetal saw blade (4/6 ZpZ) supplied and mounted on the machine.
• CETOP hydraulic system.
• Coolant system with an approximate capacity of 100 liters, optionally combinable with an Eco micro-dosing system.
• Silver gray and blue gray paint finish in RAL 7001 / RAL 7031.
• Modem for remote access, including a dashboard displaying all relevant machine data, included for a term of one year. This offer is valid only for machines located in Germany and includes final maintenance after warranty expiration. During the warranty period, the modem remains the property of the supplier.
