Quenching is a key process in manufacturing that rapidly cools heated metal or alloy to achieve specific properties, such as increased hardness, strength, and durability. The process typically involves immersing the metal in a liquid, with the choice of quenching medium based on the metal type and desired outcome. Proper control of the cooling rate is critical to avoid cracking or warping, and advanced methods like spray, immersion, or induction quenching ensure consistent results. This equipment uses a Mitsubishi PLC to control the cycle, adjusting water temperature and monitoring tank levels. It blows air to remove excess water from the casting after removal and alerts operators if any alarm conditions arise.

Key Features

1. Water Temperature Control: Effectively manages the temperature of the water.

2. Water Level Maintenance: Keeps the water level stable in the tank.

3. Full Automation: Features: Mitsubishi FX-3GE PLC and an HMI for user-friendly operation.

4. Cooling System: Utilizes a brazed-welded plate heat exchanger for indirect cooling, with a cooling capacity of up to 200 kW.

5. Durable Control Panel: Constructed from varnished metal for longevity.

6. Pressure Regulating Valve: Ensures consistent pressure throughout the system.
